Wow, Denise!  This sounds like a lot of fun!  And candy too!  A bit far for me to attend, but I would like to do that some time.

Hi Susan ~ Believe it or not I had an open house and couldn't be there either. I was really miffed at missing it - made only slightly better by the fact it started tipping down with rain about an hour into it. We've had such a good week as far as the weather is concerned, I don't know why it had to rain today.

One thing I did promise myself after this year though. I will pay better attention to the calendar next year and make sure I can attend, come rain or shine. I only found out about this last week at our 4th Parade and I was as impressed as you - This is something I could really get into!

I remember going to something like this back in Maryland.  So much fun.  Those guys take the RC flying very seriously.  I remember, in order to fly one, I had to agree to take a class before I could go out and do it on my own.  A couple hundred bucks later and I was flying myself!

Yes, this is something I can really imagine being a lot of fun, I'm not surprised you sprang for a couple of hundred bucks to fly yourself. I don't have very good hand - eye co-ordination so I'm not sure I'm a particularly good candidate.

I know these guys take it seriously, I got that at 4th Fest observing them.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your experience with us. Makes me even more sure that I will be there at their next show!

We have an area here over by SeaWorld were the San Diego Electric Flyers fly their model planes and helicopters. Some of them are out there every day, but Saturday afternoon is the best time to go.
