It's Wednesday and we had another beautiful spring day here in Coralville. What better time to go out to my favorite park and take some photos.... The water fountains are up and running again and I will always gravitate to anywhere there is a body of water! (Comes from living on the coast for most of my life). No oceans around here, but still no lack of water with plenty of lakes and ponds and of course the Iowa River.
Just love the sunshine - Have you noticed how much happier people are when the sun is shining?

Denise, thank you so much for enlightening us Take it For Granted Types that when you Think Iowa, you sure don't Think Water. While I'm not a transferee comparing offers between Iowa and somewhere else, this would be a picture that would cause me to throw a point into the Iowa camp that otherwise wouldn't have gone there.
Hi Nancy ~ It's funny, but just about anyone I talk to who has relocated here has commented on how it's not what they expected. I'm glad that with just a couple of photos I was able to convert you to adjust your ideas, hopefully they have the same effect on others who may be considering relocating to the area. Just love the idea of Iowa picking up a point or two through my observations!

People most certainly are more cheerful when the sun is out. Just visit Britain when the sun is out and go back in the middle of winter. Cut that. Most of the time when the sun is not out.
