Here's the answer to that question and what greeted me this morning when I came downstairs to make my morning tea... The toilet roll was in its packaging in a cupboard in the basement. (A cupboard that my son had left slightly ajar as boys do...) Since I wasn't there I can only assume Tigger played football with it up the stairs and into the living room where he made short work of it...

Denise - He looks so very, very BUSTED! Did he try to tell you 'It wasn't me!' ?
Debi
Hi Debi ~ He's a very chatty cat, but no he didn't try to get out of it... He knows what he's doing and I think the look is a "what's your problem" look.:-)
Denise
Denise - I've caught by doggies doing the same thing from time to time. Came home the other day and one of them had gone into the downstairs bathroom and got a hold of the tp on the roll and walked around the house with it. There was a long strand of tp through every downstairs room. LOL
Hi Denise ~ I can't believe how he destroyed it!! What a minx!
There are bunches of hilarious videos on youtube of cats playing with t.p. I've watched most of them!
Liz
Hi Donne ~ Yes, I've heard dogs like tp too. They probably don't destroy it quite this bad though. This takes a special talent.:-)
Hi Liz ~ We tend to leave our bathroom doors closed, because of the mess he makes once he gets going...This was a first though kicking it through the house before destroying it on the living room carpet. I thought I was seeing things when I got up this morning and found it there - It took me a minute to figure out how he'd done it!
I know there are lots of funny cat videos on youtube - They are fun pets and do come up with some funny antics.
Denise
hi Denise, Cats are very independent and as such know all to well how to entertain themselves.
He looks like he is saying "nobody else was up to play with me at 5 AM ... what did you expect me to do?" Nice pic, Denise!
The smile of satisfaction is on his/her face. I love it!
That's so funny! I wouldn't expect a cat to do that. Now my dog... that's a different story.
My kitties don't pay any attention to the toilet paper-- guess I am lucky! Franky is a lounger! Kathy

Hello Everyone ~ Looks like my industrious cat has made quite an impression here on the Rain!
Georgina, to your comment about cats not doing this kind of stuff. Last year a colleague, (a dog person) was pretty impressed with my "awesome cat who thought he was a dog." (her words of course).
Cute photos of your kitties too Kathy.
Thank you all for stopping by. I'm sure Tigger will be thrilled to know he's a star now. (Quite clearly he likes attention.:-)

We've been fortunate that our Zoey the Cool Cat was house broken, curtain broken, toilet paper roll broken, screen broken, etc., when we got her. All we have to do is love her, play with her, feed her, scoop her poop, and let her sleep. She's happy.
