Choosing a Realtor is tricky. You want to work with someone you like, but on the other hand you want to be sure they're more than just nice and know what they're doing too. Especially if you're relocating you need someone who is on top of their game, able to come up with answers no matter what you throw at them.

So here's the lowdown on me: I'm a Realtor helping clients buy and sell homes in Iowa City, Coralville and North Liberty Iowa. I'm very resourceful, not to say relentless when it comes to helping clients achieve their goals. I work with a lot of "first timers". That includes first time buyers, people relocating to the area and just lately first time sellers too. (In my eyes if you're relocating to Iowa City it will be the first home you buy here, so that makes you a "first timer" too). 

My strong suit is that I have a real easy time getting along with most people. Originally from the UK I've spent a lot of time in foreign countries, including Hongkong, Singapore and Germany, so I've had lots of practice in meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds. All this experience in moving puts me in a unique position when it comes to understanding your concerns about your move. I'm also a great listener and as far as I'm concerned that's a "must have" attribute for a Realtor.

I'm very knowledgable on market conditions in the area and always research neighborhoods thoroughly before advising clients. A buyer needs to know what homes in a neighborhood are selling for before making an offer. A seller needs to know the same thing before putting a home on the market. Buying or selling it's much easier to make decisions when you have all the facts at your disposal. One thing you can be sure of when you work with me is that you'll know as much as I know when it comes to making your decision!

I've lived in the Iowa City area for ten years and feel right at home in what is a very diverse area of the Midwest with people from many different cultures and backgrounds. When it comes to moving it really doesn't matter whether you're moving from across town or across the country, I know where you're coming from... And whatever comes up, I'll figure out a way to deal with it. That's not to say I know everything - sometimes I have to figure out where to go for the answer myself, but I will figure it out - you can be sure of that!
